Signage
Signage is the primary tool used in wayfinding. It acts as a medium to convey information to a user as to where they are, where they need to go and how to get there. Effective signage is comprehendible at a glance, legible at a distance and strategically placed as to aide in conveying messages to users without overloading them with information. Good signage helps to augment a wayfinding strategy, passing on information clearly and concisely to help the user efficiently and effectively navigate the space.
